COVID-19 Notice 2021

PLEASE NOTE - THE SHOWER / TOILET BLOCK - will not be open until 17th May following government guidelines.

We have fully risk assessed the touring park and have in place an operational system which is in accordance with current government guidelines.
The shower/toilet block will NOT be open until 17th May, after this time, we still urge all visitors to use their own facilities at this time in order to further reduce risk. If it is absolutely necessary for you to use the site facilities, access will be limited to one pitch or one person at any time. Your health and safety is our primary concern.

We have a contactless check-in procedure and would ask you kindly to use a face mask upon your arrival.

Each pitch is 9m x 10m in which is a gravel topped hardstanding area of 5.2m x 8m. This provides space for one vehicle (on grass), caravan and awning on gravel with ties into the grass. Pitches are separated with a screen of evergreen hedging.

We have four subtly illuminated hook-up points servicing three pitches each, with fresh water and a reliable 16A electric supply.

There is a covered communal waste disposal point.

Inside the hand built amenity block cabin are two large welcoming showers, two clean roomy toilets and two instant hot water wash basins in a central hallway. There is also a shaver socket, hand dryer and paper towels for your convenience. (See photographs below)

I am in the process of finishing the covered outside wash area which will have two washing up sinks. (Check out the facebook page for regular updates and developments).

The Site

The site is situated on the north side of the river Glen, just off the A15, south of Bourne in South Lincolnshire. We are close to Waterside Garden Centre, which has a large restaurant and a Petrol Station 500m up the road. This historic site was a water cress farm and later a plant nursery. From 20+ years of neglect it's becoming a functional and resourceful place again.

There is a one-way system around the site, and once you have visited the reception office, you pass close to the river bank and round to the pitches. There is ample space to enable you to safely site your vehicle. Pitches are numbered and subtly lit at night.

We are child, dog, cat and rabbit friendly. The opposite river bank is a very popular dog walk, heading into the picturesque fens toward Tongue End and the nature reserve along this stretch of The Macmillian Way.

Cresslands is a new, still developing touring park, and as such, more features and facilities are in the pipeline.
